Rob works in the areas of Bankruptcy, Insolvency and related Litigation within our Private Client Services Team.
Rob advises clients on Statutory Demands, Company Applications for winding up and Bankruptcy matters. His client base includes liquidators and trustees as well as parties who have received Statutory Demands, who are facing insolvency or who require advice regarding asset protection.
Rob is the author of Debt Recovery in Victoria: A Guide to the Law, the Enforcement chapter in Court Forms, Precedents and Pleadings, and was commissioned by the Victorian Government in 2000 to prepare a report on the Judgment Debt Recovery Act.
Rob is an active member of the Law Institute of Victoria, past chairman of the Litigation Lawyers Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and the sole Victorian lawyer on the Magistrates Court Civil Rules Committee.
Danielle works primarily in the area of bankruptcy and personal insolvency in private client services.
Danielle provides advice and assistance to clients seeking to enforce remedies through bankruptcy proceedings, as well as individuals facing concerns of personal insolvency, personal asset management and protection and disputes regarding creditor claims.
Danielle is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and various other professional associations and acts as counsel to a number of community, religious and other not-for-profit organisations.
Ersilia's principal focus is Bankruptcy, Insolvency and related litigation within our private client services team. Ersilia's practice is almost exclusively in the area of commercial litigation, including debt recovery, enforcement and insolvency work, in particular bankruptcy and winding up.
Ersilia has an established reputation in the legal arena with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders such as the Courts for providing prompt and efficient service and is committed to a hands on approach in all matters which includes her own appearance work in most jurisdictions.
She advises clients in relation to all aspects of bankruptcy related matters, both from the point of view of creditors wishing to institute bankruptcy action against debtors as well as clients who may be considering bankruptcy and the alternatives available. She advises liquidators and trustees and also clients who receive demands from liquidators and trustees.
Ersilia is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Victorian Women's Lawyers Association, International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation – IWIRC Australian Network Victorian Branch and an associate member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia. She is also a board member of the Australian Community Support Organisation and the Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee of that organisation.
John is a member of our Dispute Resolution and Litigation, and Insolvency and Debt Management teams. John practices in all aspects of debt recovery litigation including bankruptcy, winding up of corporations and general commercial litigation and advice including court appearances, with a particular emphasis on the insolvency area.
During nearly 15 years as Principal of his own firm, John acted for Government Boards and Authorities, municipalities and publically listed corporations, providing him with an insight into successfully managing the particular needs and expectations of such clients.
John is a regular speaker on enforcement issues for the Law Institute of Victoria's Young Lawyers Lecture Series, and a lecturer on debt recovery and enforcement at Leo Cussen Institute. John is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the MCC, the Melbourne Football Club and the Philip Island RSL Sub-branch.
