Danielle leads our Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practice sections. She works primarily in commercial dispute resolution and insolvency and debt management including pursuing debts, handling complex enforcement, winding up and bankruptcy proceedings. She has extensive experience advising clients in relation to debt and insolvency issues, responding to and disputing creditors’ statutory demands, defending unfair preference claims and advising and assisting clients in company and business restructuring.
Danielle advises clients in relation to compliance obligations under the Privacy Act, responding to complaints about the handling of personal information as well as conducting training and systems audits for compliance purposes.
Danielle is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and various other professional associations and acts as counsel to a number of community, religious and other not-for-profit organisations.

Ersilia works in our debt recovery, enforcement and insolvency practice areas, her particular focus being bankruptcy and winding up.
Ersilia has an established reputation for providing prompt and efficient service and is committed to a hands on approach in all matters which includes her own appearance work in most jurisdictions. She attends clients at their premises providing in-house consultancy advice and assisting in the establishment of internal credit procedures and structures.
Ersilia is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and various other professional associations, She is currently deputy chair of the Australian Community Support Organization, having served on the Board of this organization in a voluntary capacity for almost 20 years.

Rob leads our Debt Management section, and Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution section, within our Commercial Services Team. Rob handles complex commercial litigation, insolvency matters, debt recovery and enforcement of judgments. Rob also manages the firm’s large volume debt recovery service for corporate clients.
Rob is the author of Debt Recovery in Victoria: A Guide to the Law, the Enforcement chapter in Court Forms, Precedents and Pleadings, and was commissioned by the Victorian Government in 2000 to prepare a report on the Judgment Debt Recovery Act.
Rob is an active member of the Law Institute of Victoria, past chairman of the Litigation Lawyers Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and a long standing member of the Magistrates Court Civil Rules Committee.

Rod is the Head of the Commercial Services team. He is an accredited business law specialist and registered Trade Marks attorney with many years of experience as a commercial lawyer.
Rod provides sound client focussed legal services to a variety of commercial clients including ASX listed companies, Australian subsidiaries of international companies and small to medium sized Australian businesses.
Rod’s practice involves preparing or reviewing and advising on a variety of contracts including sale of business agreements, shareholder agreements, terms of trade and construction agreements, advising on trade practices issues and commercial leasing.

Mary-Ann is a senior lawyer and registered Trade Marks attorney, and leads our Intellectual Property section, as well as working in other specialised areas within our Commercial Services team.
Mary-Ann’s focus is on intellectual property rights protection and commercialisation strategies, and related commercial advisory and contracting services. Her expertise covers all aspects of IP rights including general advisory services, IP rights registration and portfolio management, audits and due diligence, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements dealing with IP issues and providing in-house management training and policy development services to corporate clients.
Mary-Ann is a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, IPSANZ, LESANZ and the Copyright Society of Australia.

Denis was admitted to practice in Australia in November 2006. Prior to joining White Cleland Commercial Department in October 2011, Denis gained experience at three other Melbourne law firms specialising in commercial and property transactions.
At our firm, Denis practises in a wide area of commercial law related work, ranging from the sale and purchase of businesses and companies through preparing and reviewing various commercial documents, to franchising and commercial leasing.
In his work, Denis is committed to achieving best possible outcomes for his clients using a multidisciplinary approach in considering legal issues.

John is a member of our dispute resolution and litigation section. John joined White Cleland over ten years ago and practises in all aspects of debt recovery litigation including bankruptcy, winding up of corporations and general commercial litigation and advice including court appearances with a particular emphasis on the insolvency area.
During nearly 15 years as principal of his own firm he has acted for large government boards and authorities, municipalities and publically listed corporations.
John has been a speaker at the Law Institute of Victoria, Young Lawyers Lecture Series on enforcement and a lecturer at the Leo Cussen Institute on debt recovery and enforcement. John is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the MCC, the Melbourne Football Club and the Philip Island RSL.

Amanda works in the specialised area of Family Law within our Private Client Services team in all of our offices.
Amanda’swork in this area is focused on providing advice and assistance to clients with an emphasis wherever possible on working collaboratively toward a negotiated outcome. If litigation is necessary Amanda ensures the clients case is prepared and presented to the Court in the best manner possible.

Tanya works in our Family Law team in both our Frankston and Rosebud offices.

Kathy undertakes home visits for the elderly and to nursing homes and retirement villages and has engaged in speaking events for White Cleland’s many local community sponsorships.

Chris is the head of the Private Client Services team at White Cleland. He has worked continuously in the area of private client services for over 25 years and now oversees much of the work undertaken by White Cleland in this area.
Private Client Services refers to those matters which affect individuals in their day to day lives. This includes issues relating to property and conveyancing, aged care and retirement villages, wills and estate administration, estate disputes and many other common life events.
In addition, Chris advises on more complex property and land development matters and acts as general counsel for various institutions which deal with the public including educational, health and housing organisations.
Chris is actively involved in the local community and serves on various boards and committees for schools and other community organisations. His work in this area has been recognised in awards received from the Victorian Law Foundation and the Frankston City Council.
